Happy 1st Birthday Little Prince Castle Cake
Yellow cake with buttercream filling. Covered with homemade marshmallow fondant. Airbrushed to look like a real castle. Pretty cool looking. The little guy is the brother of one of the kids from the school I worked at last year. I used rice krispy treats for the castle corners and the stone wall.

Honda Shadow Motorcycle Birthday Cake
Made this cake for my husband's Birthday. I'm taking him out tonight for a surprise Birthday adventure. He has no idea what we are doing but he just learned the cake is coming with us. Now he's nervous. ha ha Gotta love the suspense!
The motorcycle on the cake is a sugar paste replica of his new "old" motorcycle. It's a 1990 Honda Shadow. It was a challenge to make a sugar paste bike that sits on 2 wheels. Took lots of patience as it had to be done in steps. But I'm happy with the outcome.

Blue Thunder Monster Truck
Here's another Blue Thunder Monster Truck. This one is a little shorter than the last one so it can fit on top of a 1/2 sheet cake. Love how the front grill turned out. The sheet cake is 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 vanilla with cookies and cream filling. The monster truck is carved from vanilla pound cake.

Another Bee Hive Cake
Made this cake for a customer at The Town Crier Bakery. Her name is "Bee". So it's most definitely an appropriate Birthday Cake. This is pound cake with buttercream icing. It is covered with fondant and airbrushed. The daisies and bees are all hand made using gum paste. The only non-edible element is the wire used to "fly" the bees around the cake.

Jim & Kristin's Wedding Cake
I have to say that the Krout Wedding was the most beautiful wedding ceremony I've ever seen. The father of the bride officiated and he did a wonderful job. The brother and sister sang and it was amazing. Everyone looked stunning. And I could just go on and on... JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!
And now... my first wedding cake! White Almond Sour Cream Cake with Fudge Filling and buttercream icing. The detail on the sides of the cake is called "brush embroidery". All the decorations are edible.
Congratulations Kristin & Jim!!!

Cake Delivery Sign Available for Purchase
This sign was designed at my husband's request because it can be VERY stressful delivering a custom cake. Especially when the drivers behind you are on your bumper trying to make you go faster.
Once it was designed I went on the forums at CakeCentral to get some feedback and the general consensus was that I should make them available for other cake decorators.
So.. here it is. If you want to purchase a sign, just follow this link to e-bay and you can get one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120455212344
