I'm a member of a cake forum. I'm also a member of the Critique Subgroup on the forum. This is a good thing. Other cake happy people can look at my cakes, critique them, and give me some constructive criticism.
So... Here's the result after taking some advice.
And who eats this afterwards? Hey honey, I have another cake? My boys would just eat the icing! LOL! How much does Matt weigh, now days? ;o)
