Mother's Day Cake for my Mom



Made this cake for my mom for Mother's Day. It's a lemon cake with vanilla pudding between the layers. Butter cream icing and fondant accents.

    have you made any recent mothers day cakes? beacause mothers day is this sunday and I dont know what cake I should do! My mom doesn't like chocolate cake that much, however do you have any thing such as strawberry cakes that look great? or vanilla please help!

    This cake is iced with vanilla buttercream and then topped with a round piece of fondant that has scalloped edges all around.


    You could do a vanilla cake with fruit filling, strawberry cake with buttercream filling, the sky is the limit. :)
